Biography

Edwin Moore is President of Moore Nuclear Energy, LLC. He is a chemical engineer currently providing Senior Advisory Engineering services to SRNS/SRNL. He has over 47 years of experience in nearly all aspects of nuclear operations (management, design, start-up) involving most types of nuclear materials and facilities. He has served as technical lead for numerous DOE studies (e.g., integrated Facilities Plan and Canyon Processing Needs Assessment), supported recent efforts (e.g., PDCF, MOX, and GNEP), and more recently provided technical leadership for HTGR processing and spent fuel disposition options at SRS.
