Biography

Prince Rautiyal earned a bachelor’s degree in physics and a master's degree in nuclear science from the University of Delhi, India. He is currently a final-year Ph.D. student in Materials and Engineering Research Institute, Sheffield Hallam University, Sheffield, United Kingdom. His Ph.D. title is “Understand the structure, properties, and performance of glasses for radioactive waste immobilization using advanced spectroscopic techniques”. He is a member of the Energy Institute, UK and the Society of Glass Technology, UK. He is a Special Visiting Lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University. He has supervised and co-supervised undergrad and postgrad students. His hobbies include cooking, photography, cricket and traveling.
