Biography

Megan Higley is a Mechanical Engineering PhD student at the University of Nevada, Reno. She received her master's degree in 2019 for work relating the modeling of nuclear fuel casks. She has interned for Argonne National Lab, Pacific Northwest National Lab, and IUSTI in France. She was a Roy G. Post Scholarship recipient in 2021, a Nuclear Power Fellowship recipient since 2019, and is working toward her certificate in Nuclear Packaging. She hopes to complete her PhD in May of next year.
