Biography

Martin is a specialist in the disposition of spent fuels and nuclear materials, with over 20 years of experience in the UK nuclear industry. He has worked on the UK geological disposal programme with Nuclear Waste Services and its predecessors since 2006. Martin is the Nuclear Waste Services lead on the disposition of civil spent fuels in the UK, as well as unirradiated bulk plutonium, spent fuel from the defence programme and vitrified High Level Waste. HIs current area of focus is the safe dispositioning of metallic uranic materials that will remain following the cessation of spent fuel reprocessing in the UK.
