Biography

Dr. Joan Wu is a professor at Washington State University (WSU). She conducts hydrological research with specific interests in modeling and application of GIS and remote sensing to hydrologic studies. She received her BS in geology and MS in hydrology from Tongji University, MS in mathematics from WSU, and PhD in Agricultural Engineering from The Ohio State University. She is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Washington.
