Biography

Aaron started his career in 1996 at Hamilton Standard working in the areas of fatigue, fracture mechanics, and tribology. He joined the United Technologies Research Center in 2006 where he lead the mechanical behavior group then later created a Cold Spray Research Lab that he ran until his departure in 2018. He then went to the US Army Research Labs where he was the team lead for Cold Spray until joining VRC Metal Systems in November of 2020. Aaron has over 60 patents, papers, and presentations related to Cold Spray, advanced manufacturing processes, erosion protection, wear resistant coatings development and applications, and coating structures for fatigue mitigation.
