Biography

Gabrielle Psotka graduated from the Environmental Engineering program at the University of Guelph in 2017. She held co-op positions at WSP, AMEC NSS and Canadian Nuclear Laboratories (CNL). Upon graduating, she obtained a position at CNL in Waste Management Operations as a Waste Characterization Specialist. In this position she develops characterization plans for buildings to be decommissioned at the Chalk River site. Characterization is required to obtain sufficient radiological and non-radiological data to determine how the demolition waste will be disposed of. She is excited for her future at CNL and in the nuclear industry.
