Biography

Mr. LaPlante is an environmental scientist with expertise in radiological dose assessment modeling, environmental impact analysis, and regulatory reviews. For over 30 years he has provided technical support to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission and other clients on topics related to radioactive waste management. This includes analyses of waste management activities such as transportation, storage, and disposal within various program areas including high-level waste, low-level waste, uranium recovery, materials decommissioning, uranium mill tailings, and waste incidental to reprocessing.
