Biography

Dr. Ridge is a Senior Risk Analyst in the Division of Decommissioning, Uranium Recovery, and Waste Programs at the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission. She’s been with the NRC for 19 years. During that time she has performed performance assessments for sites undergoing decommissioning, technical analyses related to waste classification and concentration averaging, and assessments of Department of Energy Waste Determinations for Waste Incidental to Reprocessing. She has a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley, a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from Cornell University, and a Bachelor's degree in physics from Drew University.
