Biography

Louis Caponi joined the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) in 2020 as part of the Nuclear Regulator Apprenticeship Network (NRAN). He has completed four rotations working in various skill areas, from physical security to operating reactor oversight to risk analysis. He received a Bachelor's Degree in Nuclear Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and will graduate from the NRAN Program in 2022. Mr. Caponi is proud to continue his career as a Risk Analyst for facility decommissioning and low-level waste storage.
