Biography

Delphine Appriou is an earth scientist at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL), with experience in project management in geologic carbon storage, environmental remediation, and risk assessment. Delphine is the Deputy Program Manager of the Deep Vadose Zone Program, which supports the DOE’s Richland Office cleanup mission at Hanford. She has over 14 years of expertise in many aspects of geologic carbon storage projects. She serves as the PNNL lead for the National Risk Assessment Partnership and the Department of Energy (DOE)-Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Federal Technical Assistance Program related to evaluating Underground Injection Control Class VI well permits for secure geologic storage.
