Biography

Matthew is currently a Project Engineer with Weston Solutions, which is the Trustee of the West Chicago Environmental Response Trust (WCERT). WCERT manages the former Rare Earths Facility (REF), a former thorium mill tailings site located in West Chicago, Illinois. Matt has over 5 years of environmental engineering experience in groundwater remedial system design and operations and maintenance (O&M), water treatment, radiological remediation, and environmental investigation. He leads site field work, data collection, and reporting for REF engineering tasks. He has a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture and Biological from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is a registered P.E. in Illinois.
