Biography

Thomas P. Smith is the Director, Regulatory Compliance and Licensing for Cameco Corporation Fuel Services Division. He has been an employee of Cameco Corporation and its predecessor companies for over 40 years and has been the Director since 2015 responsible for regulatory affairs for the Division. He has Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Western Ontario. . Tom has enjoyed a progressive career with Cameco starting off as a laboratory supervisor, moving up to Superintendent Analytical, Superintendent Technical Services, Superintendent Production Operations, Senior Environmental Specialist and more recently Director, Regulatory Compliance and Licensing.
