Biography

Jose has over 18 years of expertise in the energy and environmental sector comprising of public and private companies, universities, and international organizations located in Canada, Ecuador, United States, and Honduras. Jose worked with the Ecuadorian oil sector and served as director of the Society of Petroleum Engineers. He previously worked with Government of Alberta and University of Regina. Jose completed a bachelor’s degree in engineering, Masters in Energy and Environment, master’s in public administration, PhD in Petroleum Systems Engineering, and post-doctorate in Energy Technology Innovation Policy.
