Jerry Yokel is lead chemist for the Washington State Department of Ecology’s Nuclear Waste Program in Richland, where he has worked since 1992. Jerry has extensive experience in analytical laboratory assessment, data validation and environmental regulatory testing methodology and is the Quality Assurance Coordinator for the Nuclear Waste Program. He has been involved in Federal, State and Municipal environmental regulatory compliance and cleanup actions. Jerry gave the keynote address presentation entitled , “The Hanford Reservation: A Veritable History of Chemistry” at the 2015, 23rd Annual Washington College Chemistry Teachers Association Conference (American Chemical Society).
