Biography

Ed is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry with 30 years’ experience developing treatment solutions for nuclear wastes. This includes projects on wastes from reprocessing and reactor sites in the UK and internationally. He has been extensively engaged with the university sector throughout his career and is currently • The NNL lead for the ongoing UKRI and industry funded TRANSCEND (Transformative Science and Engineering for Nuclear Decommissioning) Programme. • The Strategy Manager for the Centre for Innovative Nuclear Decommissioning (CINDe), an industry-based PhD hub with students embedded in industry • The NNL Technical Lead for the NDA funded University Interactions Programme
