Biography

Oral Saulters is a researcher, practitioner, educator, and developer of sustainable solutions for complex challenges. With many years of experience at the nexus of ecological, cultural, social, and regulatory systems, he leads efforts to build bridges and span boundaries between diverse knowledge systems, scientific best practices, decision-making tools, and collaborative governance. He is an ESH Professional with Los Alamos National Laboratory, former Fellow with the US Environmental Protection Agency, Partner with the Center for Hazardous Substance Research, and Co-Chair of the National Tribal Brownfields Working Group. He is involved with various initiatives to creatively address waste management, land revitalization, community capacity building, climate resilience, and environmental justice.
