Dan Parvin is a graduate of the universities of Leicester and Birmingham in the UK. Dan is a senior physicist based at Cavendish Nuclear's offices at Sellafield in the United Kingdom. He has over 26 years of experience and expertise in the provision of specialist technical knowledge into algorithm development, concept and radiometric instrument design both in the UK and internationally. He has extensive mathematical modelling experience and recent innovations include the Particle Swarm Imaging (PSIM) assay technique, the Plutonium Hold-Up Measurement System (PHUMS) , Model Free Characterisation (MFC), DoseSIM and Depth Profiling developments.
