Biography

Tim Carty, P.E., is currently the Project Engineer for the UCOR Biology Project at the Y-12 plant in Oak Ridge, TN. He has over 40 years of experience as a structural engineer including lead structural engineer on the K-25/K-27 D&D Project at the East Tennessee Technology Park. Much of his career has included design and/or deactivation and demolition of various facilities associated with past operations at the Department of Energy (DOE) plants in Oak Ridge, TN, with short project assignments at the DOE facilities in Paducah, KY and Portsmouth, OH.
