Biography

I am a final year PhD student at the University of Manchester, examining contamination mechanisms of metals in acidic reprocessing scenarios and testing and developing decontamination approaches, with the aim of minimising waste volumes and economic and environmental burdens. I obtained my undergraduate master's degree in Chemical Engineering with Nuclear Technology from the University of Sheffield in 2018. I take a keen interest in outreach and volunteering, promoting science to young people.
