Biography

Ross Springell is a senior lecturer in the School of Physics at the University of Bristol. He specialises in actinide physics and nuclear materials research and is part of the Nuclear Science and Engineering programme and the Nuclear Energy Futures Centre for Doctoral Training. His group works on fundamental solid-state physics of the actinides, and applied research in advanced nuclear fuels and waste issues around spent nuclear fuel and stored uranics.
