University of Nevada, Las Vegas
I'm a first-year PhD student in radiochemistry at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, with an interest in the nuclear fuel cycle. I graduated from Tufts University in 2017 with a degree in chemical engineering, and went on to work in materials science, developing transparent ceramic materials for radiation detection. As a graduate student, my research focuses on developing spectroelectrochemical techniques for analyzing actinide solutions, with applications in waste treatment and nonproliferation. Outside of the lab I spend my free time exploring the beautiful and austere landscapes of the desert southwest.
