Biography

I am Assistant Professor at the Department of Chemistry and I lead the Environmental Radiochemistry Group at the University of Central Florida. One of the group’s main research areas is the fate of heavy metals and radionuclides in the environment with emphasis on fundamental and applied studies and remediation strategies. I hold a BSc in Chemistry, an MSc in Environmental Analytical Chemistry and a PhD in Radiochemistry.
