Biography

Mr. Howard is the Manager of Packaging Technologies at SRNL. Mr. Howard has been with SRNL both an engineer and manager for approximately 15 years. With his B.S. in Physics, Mr. Howard focused the majority of his engineering work as the laboratories subject matter expert in nuclear calorimetry. Mr. Howard also provided support to NDE processes and techniques included digital radiography, computed tomography, ultra-sonic and visual inspections. His current Packaging organization provides support efforts in the development, analysis, testing, licensing, procurement, and maintenance of radioactive material packages for the DOE, NNSA, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the NRC. Major programs include the 9975, 9977, 9980.
