Biography

For over 35 years, Dr. Dixon performed research and has been a technical program manager in a variety of energy, non-proliferation and environmental programs at Los Alamos National Laboratory. Dr. Dixon retired from Los Alamos National Laboratory in 2023, but remains on staff as a senior advisor to the Civilian Nuclear Program Office and US Department of Energy Environmental Management Office. Dr. Dixon holds a Bachelors of Arts degrees in Geology and Chemistry from Albion College, and both a Masters and Doctorate degree in Geochemistry from Yale.
