Ben Williams is the public affairs specialist for the U.S. Department of Energy’s Oak Ridge Office of Environmental Management. He provides guidance to management on communication issues, develops messaging strategies, and leads outreach efforts for the $600+million annual program. Williams has worked with the U.S. Department of Energy for more than 10 years supporting public affairs efforts with its Office of Environmental Management, Office of Science, and Office of Technology Transitions during that span. He holds an undergraduate degree in marketing from Mississippi State University and a master’s degree in strategic public relations from George Washington University.
