Biography

Susan D. Morris serves as the Acting Deputy Manager for the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Production Office (NPO). She is responsible for the oversight of NNSA mission activities at the Pantex Plant and the Y-12 National Security Complex. Morris has over 30 years of nuclear experience within DOE. She has served in various positions including Assistant Manager for Environment, Safety, Health and Quality (AMESHQ), Deputy AMESHQ, and Acting AM for Environment, Safety and Engineering. Morris received a BS in Industrial Engineering and MS in Industrial Engineering and Environmental Engineering from the University of Tennessee. She also received a Fire Protection Engineering MS from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
