Biography

Mary Kruger is the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Resource Management for DOE EM. She also was the Director of the Office of Regulatory, Intergovernmental and Stakeholder Engagement. She has previous executive experience in DHS, where she was Chief of Staff for Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction, and Operations Coordination. Ms. Kruger also served in EPA as Director of the Office of Homeland Security, and Deputy Director of the Office of Radiation and Indoor Air, where she led the certification of WIPP. She holds a master’s degree in Public Policy from the University of Maryland and a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and Biology from Virginia Tech.
