The Nuclear Decommissioning Collaborative
Jim is the Executive Director of the non-profit Nuclear Decommissioning Collaborative where he works with stakeholders to mitigate socioeconomic impacts from plant closure. His focus areas include spent fuel storage, socioeconomic impact management, environmental justice and community hosting agreements. Jim also specializes in the consent-based siting of nuclear waste management facilities. Previously, Jim facilitated DOE’s national public dialogue as part of their consent-based siting program from 2014 to 2017. Jim earned undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of British Columbia and MIT.
