Biography

David Garrido obtained the Mechanical Engineering degree in 1997 and started his professional career in the nuclear business in 1998 as structural and thermal analyst. In 2002, he became Project Manager of all the Spent Fuel Cask fabrication at Ensa. After 6 years of manufacturing experience, in 2008 he was the Design team responsible and Lead Design and Licensing Engineer of the ENSA's Spent Fuel Cask designs, until Dec 2016. In January 2017, David Garrido joined NAC International Inc. as Principal Technical Specialist in Dry Storage and Transportation Casks systems. David Garrido also collaborates very closely with the IAEA as consultant in working groups, consultancy meetings and expert missions related to SF.
