Mr. Tyree is an environmental policy expert who joined DOE in 2020 after four years of regulatory development at EPA and OMB to help lead DOE Order 435.1 revision. He joined EPA as a Presidential Management Fellow. Prior to his federal service, Mr. Tyree supported local, state, and federal clients in environmental compliance and remediation projects, including a one-year stint at Hanford. Mr. Tyree received his bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering from Colorado School of Mines and master’s degrees in environmental engineering and public policy from the University of Texas at Austin. Mr. Tyree is a professional engineer registered in the State of Texas.
