Biography

Steve Marchetti started his career in 1968 at the Bettis Atomic Power laboratory in naval fuel development and light water breeder reactor (U-233 / Th-232) fuel manufacturing. During more than 50 years in the industry, he has been the project director on several major DOE projects, commercial non-nuclear projects, and Washington Group’s $1.5 B Iraq Reconstruction Project. Steve retired in 2007 as the President of Washington Group’s engineering division where he was responsible for all domestic and off-shore engineering services, corporate real estate, heavy equipment, and corporate IT services world-wide. He is currently working with Cavendish Nuclear US..
