Biography

Dr. Mark Nutt manages Pacific Northwest National Laboratory's Nuclear Market Sector, overseeing PNNL's programmatic support of the DOE Office of Nuclear Energy, the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission, and commercial and international clients. Dr. Nutt is also the Deputy National Technical Director in the U.S. Department of Energy, Office of Nuclear Energy’s (DOE-NE) Spent Fuel and Waste Disposition Program and is responsible for planning, coordinating, integrating, and managing a team comprised of national laboratories and contractors to support the DOE’s efforts to implement and integrated waste management system for spent nuclear fuel and high-level nuclear waste.
