Biography

Mr. Sams has over 44 years experience within the DOE complex, including Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Y-12 Weapons Plant, K-25 Plant, Hanford, and SWPF at SRS. He is currently enjoying retirement. His most recent job was the Vice President for Technical Sales for Orano Federal Services. He is based in Richland, WA. He is a chemical engineer graduate (B.S. and M.S.) from the University of Tennessee and is a Project Management Professional. He has over one hundred publications and has patents in waste stabilization technologies. He also teaches a variety of professional classes on project management and leadership. Recipient of the 2022 Robert E. Wilson award from AIChE.
