Scott Sax is the President and Project Manager for the Central Plateau Cleanup Company. On Jan. 25, 2021, his team assumed day-to-day operations of Hanford’s 10-year, $10 billion Central Plateau Cleanup Contract. Mr. Sax’s 36 years in the nuclear industry include a wide variety of Hanford experience: leading the Amentum effort on the Waste Treatment Plant, completing cleanup at Hanford’s River Corridor as the President of Washington Closure Hanford (WCH), and serving as Chief Operating Officer of Washington River Protection Solutions at Hanford’s tank farms. Mr. Sax holds a BS degree in Chemical Engineering from Montana State University, and a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Colorado.
