Biography

Aline Ansara Stefani is a geologist with over seven years of experience in environmental consulting, including two years as an intern, working on complex chlorinated solvent sites. She earned her B.Sc. in Geology from the University of São Paulo, Brazil, and is currently a MASc student in the Department of Civil and Mineral Engineering at the University of Toronto. Her professional experience includes developing high‑resolution conceptual site models integrating advanced characterization using unconventional investigation tools, geophysics, and in situ remediation in innovative approaches. Motivated by challenging projects in heterogeneous tropical sedimentary basins, her graduate research focuses on chlorinated mixture behavior and multi‑compound modeling.
