Biography

Thomas Ortner is the Executive Vice President at Universal Engineering Siences  a full-service Engineering Firm providing Geotechnical Engineering, Environmental Consulting, Construction Materials Testing and Inspections, services to the construction, development and heavy civil industries in across the United States. Tom has over 30 years’ experience in Construction Materials Testing and Geotechnical Construction. He is a Florida Registered General Contractor and Licensed Building Code Inspector. Over the last 25 years Tom has specialized in Deep Foundation Improvements implementing QC programs and staffing job site QC laboratories across the country. He is a member of DFI, the Association of State Dam Safety Officials and National Drilling Association.
