Biography

Annabel Flores is a dual language educator with six years of experience in bilingual and dual language instruction. She currently teaches at Calmeca Academy of Fine Arts and Dual Language in Chicago, where she fosters students’ cultural identity, academic achievement, and language development in both English and Spanish. Annabel integrates collaborative learning, project-based instruction, and culturally responsive practices to create meaningful learning experiences for her students. Passionate about equity and access, she is committed to uplifting the voices of multilingual learners and empowering them through culture, language and literacy.
