Biography

Magdalena Zavalía is a lawyer who graduated from the School of Law at the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina and has completed a Postgraduate Degree in Law at Columbia University, New York. She practiced law in Buenos Aires (Argentina) and New York (United States). In New York, she worked for a decade at the law firm Latham & Watkins LLP. She is a member of the Buenos Aires Bar Association and the New York Bar Association. In 2013, she redefined her professional career to focus on literacy for children with learning difficulties. She trained at the Windward Teacher Training Institute in New York in areas such as Multisensory Instruction for Reading: PAF, Written Expression, Handwriting, and Executive Functions in Language Learning and Their Practical Applications. She leads the development and coordination of the Intelexia program. Magdalena is the co-founder of Intelexia and leads all aspects of the development of Aprendo Leyendo and other educational initiatives.
