Biography

CHARLES COHEN is Cybernet’s Chief Technology Officer, and has been a technical lead and project manager in the fields of modeling and simulation, cybersecurity, image processing, sensors, robotics, human-computer interaction, and artificial intelligence for over two decades. At Cybernet, he has led projects for the United States Department of Defense (Army, Air Force, and Navy), National Aeronautics and Space Administration, Homeland Security, and other government agencies. His projects include work on simulation, training, visual surveillance, real-time optical pose determination, robotics, virtual reality, object identification, feature and body tracking, and human performance evaluation. Dr. Cohen also currently serves on the Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC) Tutorial Board. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering Systems from the University of Michigan.
