Biography

Abigail works with the Barnstable County Cape Cod Cooperative Extension Marine Program in Massachusetts and the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution Sea Grant program as an Extension Agent (Fisheries & Aquaculture Specialist). The goal of the CCCE Marine Program is to establish, develop, and carry out education programs in marine resource development, to assist with problems concerning coastal industries and the management of coastal resources, and to transfer technological innovations, educational and informational materials to public officials, educators, and marine user groups. Abigail works with town river herring wardens, town shellfish wardens, and private shellfish aquaculture growers to identify problems, design research questions, carry out field work, and analyze data.
