Idaho National Laboratory
Justin Coleman is a licensed professional engineer and a seismic/structural engineering at the Idaho National Laboratory (INL) with a master’s degree in engineering structures and mechanics. Mr. Coleman’s background is in seismic analysis and spent fuel cask and canister impact analysis with over 10 years of experience. Much of the impact analysis work is performed using Explicit Finite Element Analysis (FEA) codes. He has performed linear and nonlinear seismic soil-structure interaction (SSI) analysis. He has also performed nonlinear time domain collapse analysis of nuclear structures to determine margin to failure and necessary mitigation to prevent collapse.
