Biography

Cornelius Holtorf is a Professor of Archaeology at Linnaeus University in Kalmar, Sweden. He gained his PhD in Archaeology from the University of Wales, United Kingdom, in 1998. He has published some books and numerous papers on the role of the past, cultural heritage, ancient monuments and historic preservation in contemporary society. Currently he works, together with his colleague Anders Högberg, on a project about long-term communication concerning the final repository of nuclear waste in Sweden, funded by the Swedish Nuclear Fuel and Waste Management Company (SKB).
