Biography

Miles Smith is a Vice President at AtkinsRéalis US Nuclear and serves as the General Manager for Integrated Waste Services at Canadian Nuclear Laboratories. Previously he was Director of Waste Management for CNL’s Whiteshell Laboratories. Over the last 35 years, Miles has held responsibilities for waste management and decommissioning at nuclear sites throughout the US. Assignments include VP of AtkinsRéalis Southwest Operations and Deputy GM at DOE EM’s Portsmouth Plant. Miles is a decorated combat veteran of the US Army. He holds a BS in Physics from the Oklahoma University and a MS in Health Physics from Texas A&M.
