Biography

Dan Cox is the deputy associate director of environmental programs at Los Alamos National Laboratory. Cox came to Los Alamos in 2005 and has held a variety of senior management roles with environmental programs and nuclear and high hazard operations. He currently is executive director of the effort to accelerate removal of 3,706 cubic meters of transuranic waste stored aboveground at Area G and is responsible for all programmatic activities, including scope definition, technical approach, organizational structure, baseline development, high hazard operations and facilities management.
