Biography

Dr. Ming Zhang is a research group leader at Geological Survey of Japan, AIST, in charge of R&D associated with soil and groundwater contamination, disposal of toxic wastes including radioactive materials. He has experience in organizing technical sessions for WM Symposia and has been serving as an associated editor for the ASCE Journal of Hazardous, Toxic, and Radioactive Waste, and conveners of the sessions on subsurface flow, mass transport and environmental assessment, and energy-environment-water nexus and sustainable development for Japan Geoscience Union (JpGU) Meetings. He also has been invited by more than ten international journals for reviewing scientific papers.
