Biography

Hans Forsström is Senior Adviser at SKB International, the subsidiary of the Swedish Nuclear Fuel and Waste management Company, SKB, which provides international services based on the know-how, expertise and laboratories developed in SKB’s programme. Earlier positions: • Director for the Division Nuclear Fuel Cycle and Waste Technology at IAEA 2005 - 2010. • Head of Unit for Nuclear Fission and Radiation Protection at European Commission 1998-2005. • Technical Director and several other positions at SKB 1979-1998. He has a Master of Science in Applied Physics from Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden, and started as a reactor physicist.
