Biography

Daryn is a fourth year Nuclear Engineering student at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) located in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. He is currently conducting his undergraduate Thesis project on analyzing and designing barriers to delay long-term iodine-129 emissions from a Canadian high-level radioactive waste repository. Upon completion of his degree this spring, Daryn will be starting his career at AMEC NSS, a nuclear engineering consulting firm in Toronto, Ontario. He also intends on pursuing graduate studies in the near future. In his spare time, Daryn enjoys cooking, travelling, and spending quality time with friends and family.
