Joel is a master’s candidate seeking a degree in environmental engineering at Florida International University (FIU). As a DOE Fellow he is currently researching attenuation of aqueous Uranium in ground water systems through subsurface sorption to aid Savannah River Site in their efforts to reduce their nuclear footprint.
