Biography

John is an environmentalist. His first degree is in Biology, with a Masters in Tropical Agricultural Development. He worked overseas for a number of years, latterly saving rainforests in West Africa. This is where he became acutely aware of the importance of good communications. He returned to the UK to work for environmental regulators (National Rivers Authority and the Environment Agency), before about 14 years ago joining the nuclear industry. He now works for the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA) as the Stakeholder Engagement Advisor in the Radioactive Waste Management Directorate.
